Don’t let the simplicity of the following recipe deter you from
trying it. Everyone has loved the
result. Jean Israel’s Pork Tenderloin 3 T. Brown sugar 2 T. Cornstarch 2 c. Whipping cream 2 T. Soy sauce 2 T. Lemon juice 1 Pork tenderloin ·
In
a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cornstarch. ·
Put
the brown sugar, cornstarch, and whipping cream in a saucepan, and bring the
mixture to a boil. ·
Remove
the pan from heat, and then stir in the soy sauce and lemon juice. ·
Place
the tenderloin in a baking dish, and then brush it with some of the sauce. ·
Bake
at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, and then reduce the heat to 375 degrees and
continue baking until the internal temperature of the tenderloin is 150
degrees, approximately 1 hour. ·
While
the tenderloin is cooking, brush on more sauce as needed. ·
When
the tenderloin is done, remove it from the dish, and let it rest for 5
minutes before carving. ·
Add
the pan drippings to the remaining sauce, and heat until warm. Serve with the tenderloin. 12/10/2014 3:27 PM |
