Our 2012
Panama Canal cruise was on the Island Princess for 14 Nights, and our 2018
Panama Canal cruise was on the Island’s sister ship, the Coral
Princess, for 15 Nights, and both itineraries were from Los Angeles to Ft.
Lauderdale.
On the 2018
cruise, we traveled with our friends from Colorado, Vince and Ann
Conkle. We met Vince and Ann in
2009 on a Danube River cruise, and we could not ask for better travel
companions. Absolutely super
people.
At the
beginning of the 2018 cruise, we flew to Los Angeles one day before the
cruise and stayed in a hotel near the airport. The next day, we took Lyft to the
cruise port in San Pedro and boarded the ship for our 15-day cruise through
the Panama Canal, stopping in various ports along the way.
