__________________________ Technical Notes: All of the pictures were taken with an LG G4 smartphone, but it stopped working when we were in Seville, Spain in 2017. I later read that my LG G4 stopped working due to a problem that LG was aware of, but, due to corporate greed, LG did not recall the phones.  As a result, I do not recommend buying ANY LG products, given corporate policy regarding known defective products. I replaced the LG G4 with a Samsung Galaxy S8. Smartphone cameras struggle a bit in lowlight situations, and that can sometimes cause a slight distortion of the image.  But, overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of pictures taken by Samsung smartphone cameras. __________________________

Hawaii – 2016 Carolyn and I flew to Oahu 2 days before Rob & Lori’s wedding and stayed in a duplex about 6 miles from the resort where the wedding was held. The duplex was in a down-home, blue-collar neighborhood, and everyone was friendly and asked about the wedding. We were on Oahu 5 days and then flew to Kauai, our favorite island, and stayed there for 7 days.
