__________________________ Technical Notes: All of the pictures were taken with an LG G4 smartphone, but it stopped working when we were in Seville, Spain in 2017. I later read that my LG G4 stopped working due to a problem that LG was aware of, but, due to corporate greed, LG did not recall the phones.  As a result, I do not recommend buying ANY LG products, given corporate policy regarding known defective products. I replaced the LG G4 with a Samsung Galaxy S8. Smartphone cameras struggle a bit in lowlight situations, and that can sometimes cause a slight distortion of the image.  But, overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of pictures taken by Samsung smartphone cameras. __________________________

British Isles Cruise 2016 In the summer of 2016, Richard and Carolyn went on a 12-day cruise of the British Isles, originating and terminating in Southampton, England. The cruise included stops on the island of Guernsey; Cork and Dublin, Ireland; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Glasgow, Orkney Islands, Invergordon, and Edinburgh, Scotland; and Le Havre, France, from where we were going to go visit the D‑Day battlefields. We flew into England 3 days before the cruise and spent 3 nights in a 500-year-old pub/B&B in the town of Eton, across a River Thames bridge from Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. During most of the 16 days that we were in the British Isles, the weather was pretty bad, with rain, wind, and very cold temperatures … and it was the summer season!!! ________________________________________________ If you would like to hear music while looking at the pictures, turn on your speakers.
